1986 Monte Carlo Aero Coupe Lateral-g Force Machine Build
The Smokin SS Monte Carlo build is part of a training program at the Metalcraft Skill Center in Crossville TN. It began in November 2007 and is scheduled to be completed in May 2008. All students are part of a build team that builds a specific vehicle, one performance vehicle per year-long aclass. The Smokin SS Monte Carlo is a Lateral-G Force Machine with the purpose of high performance in mind. It is based on information used in the ‘80s to carry Monte Carlos to numerous victories and championships in NASCAR competition.
